Josh is the founder of Boo’s Bug Stoppers, LLC. After graduating from Robert Morris University in 2004 with a Degree in Accounting, Josh began his professional career working with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Pittsburgh, PA as an auditor. While he gained valuable accounting and business experience there, he found himself aspiring to go into business on his own.
In Fall of 2005, Josh took the Controller position with W.D. Wright Contracting, Inc., where again he gained valuable accounting and business experience, working hand in hand with the company’s Executive Officers. While working at W.D. Wright Contracting, Inc., Josh found himself with the opportunity to start his side business.
After lots of research and guidance from a family friend mentor who was retired from the pest control industry, Josh obtained his pesticide applicators license through Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Penn State program, and opened Boo’s Bug Stoppers, LLC in 2006.
Josh began to build Boo’s Bug Stoppers from the ground up based off of one simple rule…The Golden Rule. He wanted to make sure every effort was made to “treat people right.” With The Golden Rule as the cornerstone of his business, Boo’s Bug Stoppers, LLC continued to steadily grow, and in 2010, Boo’s Bug Stoppers had transformed from a side business to a full time operation.
Today, Josh continues to be heavily involved in all aspects of Boo’s Bug Stoppers and is excited to tackle all the challenges that tomorrow has to bring.
When Josh is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, and is an active member at North Sewickley Presbyterian Church.
