We always take very careful consideration when using pesticides and rodent control products in and around a customer’s home, family, pets, and business. All products we use are designed to be applied in and around the home with children and pets in mind. If a particular treatment requires customer precaution for any reason, we will notify you before the treatment is performed.
There are certain situations we recommend a preventative maintenance plan; however, we advise our customers on a case by case basis. We do not offer just a “one size fits all” type of plan. Our recommendation is always based individually on customer wants and/or needs.
Unfortunately, several pest control companies, especially large companies, will send a salesman to your home/business in an attempt to lock you into a long-term contract. Based on our knowledge of the industry, these companies will follow up their professional sales pitch, with sub-par performance and/or technicians.
At Boo’s Bug Stoppers, we do not make any of our customer's sign contracts. We are confident in the quality service we provide and the quality technicians we train. Once you start using Boo’s Bug Stoppers, you will not want to leave us for another company. Therefore, No Contracts Needed. If you want to discontinue service for any reason, you just say so. It’s that simple.
We can now perform effective stinkbug treatments, but this needs to be done at a particular time of the year (typically late September or early October) when stinkbugs are outside, getting ready to come in to overwinter. As there is still not that “miracle cure” for stinkbugs where we can do a single treatment and guarantee you won’t see another stinkbug in your home, we have had outstanding success in stinkbug prevention. Most customers who’ve had us perform a stinkbug treatment want it done every fall.
This general question is tricky to answer because there are so many pest problems that we treat. Depending on the type and severity of the problem you have determines the procedure we use and price of service. When you call into the office, all it takes is a few simple questions, and we are able to give you very accurate price quotes over the phone. Call today for a speedy fast price quote.
In short, anything you want to be included. As mentioned before, we will customize your service based on your wants/needs. Typically though, general maintenance plans are broken down into three types of treatments:
- Crawling Insects
- Flying/Stinging Insects
We Can tailor a maintenance plan that covers any combination of these categories.
Our recommendation depends on what we are treating for. Some pest problems do require an inside treatment.
For most crawling insects, here is our general rule of thumb:
- Exterior treatment alone will take care of 80% of your crawling insect problems.
- Exterior treatment with Interior treatment of basement and/or attached garage will take care of over 90% of your crawling insect problems
- Complete exterior & interior treatment will give the most complete results
Stinging insect prevention is typically an exterior treatment only.
Rodent prevention is determined on a case by case basis of whether or not we need to perform a treatment inside the home.
Usually, treatments for average-sized homes are completed within 45 minutes to 1 hour. Initial treatments can take longer depending on inspection time needed or Q&A time with the customer. We will always make time to answer and address all customer questions/concerns. After all, our main goal is to provide our customers with complete peace of mind.
Typically, all treatments come with some type of re-treatment warranty. This depends on the type of problem you have and the type of products used to treat the problem. Warranties will be confirmed by the technician at the time of treatment. If your pest issue comes back within your warranty period, we will return and retreat your problem at no additional cost to you.
Due to the fact, that weather men are often wrong, we usually keep jobs scheduled and evaluate the weather on the day of treatment. If it is raining we will not treat the outside of your home. The product does need time to dry after application in order to set up properly. However, if any inside work is needed, we will usually keep the scheduled appointment to complete the inside portion of the work. We will then reschedule the exterior portion of the treatment for the next available date we are in the area. As many of our customers are busy with work, family, and hobbies, we have found that this method works best for both the customer and our scheduling efficiency.
As mentioned in the answer above, the product does need to dry prior to the next rainfall. As many of our exterior treatments are applied as a fine mist, it only takes about 20 minutes for the product to dry. Once the product is dry, it is set up and ready to withstand the normal weather patterns for the days, weeks, and months to come. Our technicians will keep an eye on the radar, and make a decision as to whether or not the product will have adequate time to dry. This is a common concern, but remember, as a valued customer, we provide you peace of mind in knowing you will have a re-treatment warranty in place if need be.
